Watch: ‘Prassthanam’ title track featuring Sanjay Dutt is all about politics and power-play

A day after unveiling the action-packed trailer of the Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Prassthanam', the makers on Friday afternoon, launched the film’s powerful title track. Written and composed by Farhad Samji and sung by Dev Negi, the music video gives us a good look at the politics and power-play set to unfold in this drama.
The lyrics, coupled with crisp shots of some action scenes add to the intrigue of the film that revolves around a political family which is akin to that of the Mahabharata as it too deals with the complex issues of desires and a war between right and wrong.

Sanjay S Dutt Productions' ‘Prassthanam’ promises lots of sword fights, shootouts and some fistfights. The film is the Hindi remake of the Telugu film ‘Prassthanam’, but will deviate from the original, the makers claimed.
"This movie isn't an exact copy. The premise and story are the same. A lot of effort went into it," Sanjay said.
Directed by Deva Katta and produced by Sanjay's wife Maanayata Dutt, ‘Prassthanam’ also stars Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Ali Fazal, Amyra Dastur and Satyajeet Dubey.
Actor Sunny Deol's ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’, which marks the Bollywood debut of his son Karan, is also set to release on September 20 - same as ‘Prassthanam’.
Speaking about the clash, Sanjay said, "That is Sunny Deol's son's film. He is like my son. I wish him all the best. Sunny is my colleague. I have worked with him a lot. The whole team of 'Prassthanam' wishes all the best to their team."
