Yo Yo on his death rumours: Kisi shararti bachche ne kiya hoga

A few days ago, fake photos of Yo Yo Honey Singh’s ‘accident’ started making rounds online, and reports of his death followed soon. Not the first celebrity to have been the subject of a death hoax, he later clarified on Twitter, “News of YoYo’s accident is a fake rumour must be spread by some haters. Please don’t bother and keep blessing YoYo (sic).” The rapper told us, “It was not funny at all, aur main soch raha tha ki kya kya karte rehte hain log.Zarur kisi shararti bachche ne kiya hoga. I stay in Dubai these days. I was coming to India that day, and my phone was off for four hours, aur peeche se yeh khabar itni badh gayi. Main jaise hi land kiya, phone bajne laga. The night before, I had got two phone calls about this, and I was told that this news has been doing the rounds on the net. Kyunki sirf do hi call aaye thay toh mujhe laga itni badi baat nahi hogi. Subah utha, flight li and tab tak woh chhota sa bawal itna bada bana hua tha.”

He said that his family wasn’t worried, since they knew he was safe and in Dubai when this news had first come out. “Jo insaan sirf kaam hi karta hai na… mera hai ki bas yaar zameen pe reh ke kaam karte raho, phir bhi koi na koi shararat karta rehta hai,” he added.
