Exclusive! Twinjabi: We’re our own bosses, and we wouldn’t like it any other way.

There are some people who love to work in an already made structure, they love to follow the instruction manual laid by someone else. On the other hand, there are some people who wish to build everything by themselves, who prefer freedom over everything else. And the musical duo of Twinjabi most certainly fall in the second category. Talking to ETimes in an exclusive conversation, Twinjabi said, “Being independent means you have freedom. You’re not limited to what a label or entertainment company is telling you to do.”
“We release whatever and whenever we want. We’re our own bosses, and we wouldn’t like it any other way,” he added.
Further in the conversation, we asked Twinjabi do they feel that owing to their genre of music their audience is limited. To this, they replied, “No. We develop our songs with the intention of capturing authentic emotions with great melodies and production. We believe the Twinjabi sound has a global appeal because of those ingredients.”
“However, our versatility lends itself to multiple genres in our music. Some people might gravitate toward our urban/rap sound, while others may love our pop/r&b sound. You can see this stark contrast between our songs ‘Bombay’ and ‘Brown Magic’,” concluded the duo.
