Jeon So Mi has been a force to reckon with even before her days in the K-pop group I.O.I. She has been making a mark in the industry with her singing and dancing skills, and has managed to break barriers and records as a solo artist.
In an interview, with comedian Lee Yong Jin on his online channel, the singer opened up about her time in the industry and the kind of impact her career has had on everything around her.
The two discussed her life and career milestones over the past 10 years and how things have grown. While talking about the time she joined the company, she shared that the office space was the same as the studio and that there were almost no staff members. Everything was being managed by musicians and producers in the company. She added about how the company managed to grow from nothing into a successful giant.
She even shared that right now, along with Taeyang and Rosé, they are all considered to be a part of the senior lineup in the company.
Learning more about the singer's growth in the industry, the comedian ended up laughing and joking, saying, “That makes you a founding contributor.
You probably laid down some of the concrete yourself." To this, even So Mi ended up laughing and even added to the joke by saying that she has contributed, "maybe" just the parking lot.
Jeon So Mi recently made a comeback with her new EP titled 'CHAOTIC&CONFUSED,' along with the music video for the title song 'Closer.' Ever since its release, the artist has been gathering a lot of praise from netizens for her experimentation and new style of music.
