Met Gala 2026: Doechii praises Lady Gaga; calls her an ‘absolute genius’

Doechii and Lady Gaga recently made headlines after they collaborated for ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2.’ The two stars then once more reunited as they both attended the Met Gala this year. While talking about her collaboration with the pop icon, the ‘Alter Ego’ rapper could not stop gushing about her.While on the red carpet at the Met Gala, Doechii was approached about her recent ‘Runway’ collaboration with Lady Gaga. While talking to Variety, the rapper could not stop gushing about the famed pop singer. Talking about Gaga, the rapper mentioned that “She’s a genius, Gaga is an absolute genius. And she’s super sweet.” Further on, she added just how talented Gaga is and how she taught her a lot of things. “She taught me a lot without even needing to say anything; she’s amazing,” Doechii cited during the interview.Doeschii opted to go barefoot for her final look for the Met Gala this year. The famed rapper wore a burgundy dress custom-made by one of the biggest designers in the industry. The dress had a cut-out bodice area, along with a leg split to add some more drama as she embodied her best fashion look following the release of her and Gaga’s song, ‘Runway’ for ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2.’ What stood out the most was the fact that she chose to go barefoot this time around, however, made sure to decorate her feet with designer henna patterns.
