OMEGA X Kevin talks about working in ‘My Bias Is Showing’, says ‘It was my first time acting’

OMEGA X as a group has been on the rise ever since their debut. Beyond singing and dancing, some of the members of the group have also managed to master the art of acting as well and have transitioned into being multifaceted stars. As of late, Kevin from the group is starring in the popular drama ‘My Bias Is Showing’. In a recent interview, the star opened up about how he managed to balance his life as an idol with acting, and how his experience has been so far in the industry. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the idol turned actor opened up about his work on ‘My Bias Is Showing,’ an upcoming drama where he plays the role of a high school teacher who bumps into his favourite celebrity, and a love story ensues. While talking about what was the most difficult to do on set, the star referred to the action scenes that he and his co-star, Kim Kang Min, and everyone else had to work through.He delved more into the matter, sharing that, “Everything has to look clean and precise on camera to get the best result, but it was quite challenging because I didn’t have much experience with that kind of acting, so I struggled quite a bit at first.”Kevin is not the only one who has acted before in a drama. Fellow members Jaehan, Hangyeom, and Yechan all have tried their hand at acting, specifically BL (Boy’s Love or queer) dramas. When talking about his role and what he would tell his fellow members in the matter, Kevin shared that he still does not consider himself to be experienced enough to pass out comments and advice to anyone else around him. He further shared that this time around, he did not wish to rely on advice from his fellow members, and instead go through the whole thing on his own. He added, “I wanted to try doing it on my own since it was my first time acting, so I intentionally didn’t ask them while preparing for this drama.”‘My Bias Is Showing’ is a BL drama which stars names such as Kevin from OMEGA X, Kim Kang Min, Lee Byung Hun, Min Yu Jun, Han Jung Hoon, and Kim Hong Jun. One fine day, when all he can think about is his work, his favourite celeb and member of the group, Choi Si Yeol ends up bumping into him and asking him to work on something together.
