About The Boyz
The Boyz is a South Korean boy band under the management of IST Entertainment. They made their debut on December 6, 2017, with the lead single "Boy" from their first EP, "The First." The group consists of Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Ju Haknyeon, Sunwoo, and Eric. Previously, Hwall was also part of the group until his departure in October 2019.
In 2016 and early 2017, several members made appearances in various artists' music videos, either as cameos or in lead roles. Kevin made his first public appearance as a contestant on Kpop Star 6, where he was eliminated early in the competition. Following this, he had the opportunity to release an OST for the drama Saimdang, Light's Diary in April 2017. Sunwoo joined High School Rapper in January 2017 but was also eliminated early on. In March 2017, Ju Haknyeon took part in Produce 101 and finished in 19th place during the final episode.
