6 hurt in bus crash of Kantara prequel crew; shoot likely to be halted

As many as six junior artistes of Kantara: Chapter 1 sustained injuries after the mini bus they were traveling in overturned near Jadkal, Udupi district, police said on Monday. The mishap occurred while the bus was transporting the artistes back to their accommodations after a day’s shoot. Reports suggest that the bus driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the accident. The injured were initially rushed to a clinic in Jadkal, but were later taken to a private hospital in Kundapura for further treatment. A case has been registered and the Kollur police are investigating the matter.
