Actor Abhimanyu, who is the son of late actor and director Kashinath, is hunting for locations throughout
Karnataka on motorcycle. The film, which is titled Yallige Payana Yavudo Daari, was launched by Real Star Upendra who considered Kashinath a guru and mentor. He released the first look poster of the movie on the occasion of Deepavali, last October.
According to reports, Abhimanyu, who is making a comeback to cinema after a gap of seven years, is travelling in Shivamogga, Chikamagaluru along with director Kiran Surya who had worked as an associate for movies like Devaki and Mummy.
The project also marks the debut of Kiran Surya in Sandalwood. Abhimanyu, who was last seen in the movie Baaji, is returning to the silver screen with a suspense thriller project which has Spoorthi and Vijayashree in female lead. The plot has many twists and turns which will keep viewers on the edge. Ganesh Narayan is composing the music, C Ravichandra is the editor. The project is produced by Nandeesh and Jatin A Patil.
Abhimanyu, who is looking for a break, has got an image makeover for this project. The film team is hoping that the number of
Coronavirus cases will reduce, to commence shooting that was stalled for three months. Though permission is given by the Karnataka government to resume shooting, not many film teams are willing to commence as film shoots demand a large number of people which violates the guidelines issued by the government.
