Anita Bhat retains her original name

Actress Anita Bhat, who is back onscreen with the latest release Silk…Sakkath Hot Maga has retained her original name in Kannada. Though, the actress has chosen to go with the name Mouna in other languages.
The talented actress who seemed to outshine Veena Malik at places in Silk…will be seen in Thippaji Circle next which is based on the Devadasi system. She will play the role f a Devadasi in the film who gives up the Devadasi system to earn a livelihood in Chitradurga.
Anita, who is from Shimoga district, has also made her presence felt in the Telugu film industry as her debut film Psycho was dubbed as Choodava Preyasi. The actress, who completed a fashion designing course after Psycho was seen sporting six different costumes during the photo shoot of Thippaji Circle which is being produced by RG Siddaramaiah and SK Vinod Krishna. The screenplay has been written by Chikkanna who has also directed the film. Dhruva Sharma will be the male lead.
