Kannada romantic suspense thriller Avanirabekittu, starring Bharath Hassan and Sowmya John in the lead roles, releases today (June 27). The film, written and directed by Ashok N Samrat, has been produced under the banner of Novika Cine Productions. Ashok says, “This film draws from a real-life identity theft incident, adapted for the screen. When Dev’s identity is stolen, his life crumbles, fueling his suspicion of everyone. As he delves further, a spiralling web of paranoia ensnares him, pushing him to drastic measures to reclaim his truth and identity. Can he rebuild his life, or will the truth shatter him completely?“Leading the cast, Bharath Hassan as Dev and Sowmya John as Bhavya deliver strong performances. Prashanth Siddi, Kiran Naik, and Lakshmi Devamma also play prominent roles, supported by Jaisimha, Manjunath, Ranganath, Basava Metri, and B S Acharyam.
