Bachchan turns 50 at box-office

Actor Sudeep starrer Bachchan completed 50 days at the box-office across Karnataka. The action film directed by Shashank, also has actresses Bhavana, Parul Yadav and Tulip Joshi in lead roles.The success of the film holds great meaning as Bachchan is running to a packed audience in 20 theatres across the state. According to the director of the film, success of the film augurs well for the genre action in Sandalwood. Unfortunately, Shashank’s earlier venture Jarasandha was a box-office dud.These days Sandalwood is in celebratory mood. Reason? Most of the films released recently are getting good response from the audience. The audience in turn is bringing good business to the filmmakers. Be it recently released Bulbul – Matadakilva or Sudeep starrer Bachchan, several Kannada films in the first part of the year are doing good business in the box-office.
