Filmmaker
Dayal Padmanabhan won a lot of critical acclaim for his film Aa Karaala Ratri, which was based on a play, and starred J Karthik,
Anupama Gowda,
Rangayana Raghu and
Veena Sundar in prominent roles. The dramatized narrative of the goings on in one night and the multitude of emotions that everyone faces because of an ill-fated act is what made everyone rave about the film when it released.
Now, Dayal has announced a good piece of news for the fans of this film.
There is soon going to be a literary offering of this film's screenplay and narrative in the form of a book.
Sharing the cover of the book and announcing this news, Dayal wrote, "AA KARAALA RATRI: The play & the Screenplay have been composed together to publish as a book to add in Kannada literature ..! Original play Writer Sri Mohan Habbu has completed the compiling work and the book is under printing! Soon it will be formally launched and it will be available for you all! Need your support & wishes! Cheers..! (Sic)"
Dayal, meanwhile, is waiting to release his latest directorial outing - Ombatthane Dikku - which sees him collaborate with actor
Loose Mada Yogi for the first time in his career. The filmmaker also recently revealed that he took the time during the lockdown to pen many scripts and he is eager to work on them soon. Dayal also is happy that this time has given filmmakers of bridge cinema like himself the option of releasing films on digital mediums and it has become acceptable too.
