According to recent reports, filmmaker K.S. Ashoka is currently in the process of penning a thriller. The 'Dia' director is currently in Mangaluru, as the same reports would reveal, to work on the script in the hopes of bringing it to life at the earliest. K.S. Ashoka, as many would already be aware, began his career with the paranormal thriller '6-5=2' which went to achieve veritable success at the box office.
On the other hand, K.S. Ashoka is also busy with the post-production duties of the Hindi remake of 'Dia'. With a new set of actors in place this time around, and
Pruthvi Ambaar reprising his role, the filmmaker hopes to recreate the same magic as with the Kannada counterpart. The makers shot extensively in the heartland of northern India including places like Lucknow and Haridwar.
As the new thriller script gets developed, K.S. Ashoka plans for a theatrical release but is also aware of the many advantages that the OTT platforms offer. In the same vein, it was reported recently that actor Pruthvi Ambaar too has decided on utilizing his break to pen a script in a similar genre (psychological thriller). Pruthvi Ambaar, who is currently back home in Kasaragod due to the lockdown, plans on scouting new talent to execute his idea. More reports to follow soon.
