Exclusive! Darshan plays Duryodhana in his 50th film

There has been a lot of speculation around Darshan's milestone 50th film. Initially, it was supposed to be Sarvantaryami directed by his brother Dinakar Thoogudeep. Later, Chowka director Tharun Sudhir was to helm the film. Now, it is officially confirmed that Darshan will re-unite with Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna director Naganna for the 50th. The Challenging Star, who is currently busy filming Taarak by Milana Prakash, will begin shoot once he finishes his current film, we're told.The film has been titled Kurukshetra and is an adaptation of Mahabharatha, as the name suggests. Naganna confirms, "Yes, it is Darshan's 50th film and it will see him playing Duryodhana. We've still finalizing the rest of the casting. We can also confirm that Ambareesh will be playing Bheeshma in the film."
