Actor
Dharma Keerthiraj is yet again sharing screen space with Anusha Rai after Khadak, for the new project titled Bengaluru Inn. Directed by
Karthik, the film sees
Dharma playing a food delivery agent.
Dharma, who has several projects in hand, says, “Bengaluru Inn is a murder mystery and it is the first time that I feature in a thriller. My character comes across a murder and how he is connected to it forms the plot of the movie.”
The actor will be seen in a negative role in The Virus, which also has
Priyanka Upendra in the lead role.
About this film, he adds, “I am an antagonist for the second time in this film. I play a doctor who is not concerned about society and wants to do things that benefit only himself, without giving a thought about the public.” He then turns a cop for Vasudhara Devi. “I play an investigative officer who is always in mufti and tries to avert a major incident,” he shares.
Dharma will also be seen in Garvam as an aspiring actor. “The story is set in a village and is about how my character tries his best to fulfil his dream. The project will take off soon,” he says.
On balancing positive and negative characters, Dharma shares, “I don’t rush to shoot my next film after completing a project. I give myself a time gap of 15-20 days to ensure that I am prepared to do a certain character. Shuttling between positive and negative characters is quite challenging, as mannerisms and expressions are contrasting.”
