Trivikrama, which marks the acting debut of
Vikram Ravichandran, son of Ravichandran, is slated to hit screens this weekend. Directed by
Sahana Murthy, it has Akanksha Sharma, Akshara Gowda,
Sadhu Kokila and Chikkanna in significant roles. The movie has been produced by Somanna under the banner Gowri Entertainers.
Telling us why he wanted
Vikram for his film, Somanna explains, “The script was such that it needed a fresh face, who can portray the role of a massy guy.
We thought Vikram fit the bill perfectly. Once we finalised him, we approached Ravichandran sir, who was also happy with the narration and content. He suggested that instead of placing emphasis on richness and grandeur, we should do justice to the story, which is what is vital to the success of a film. We are happy with Vikram's performance, and I am proud that I am launching him.”
Speaking about the subject of the film, Somanna shares, “It's a story of a middle-class man, which will connect with everyone. We have shot in Rajasthan, Jammu and
Kashmir, Bangkok and Kodachadri. After every 20 minutes, there is a change in location, which doesn’t affect the flow of the story and keeps audiences engaged. The last 20 minutes in the film is the x-factor of our movie, which will give audiences goosebumps."
