Exclusive: Vihaan to play cricketer in his next film

Vihaan returns to the screen with an as-yet-untitled project to be directed by Chandrajith Belliappa. The film also stars Ankita Amar.
“I essay the role of a professional cricketer. In real life, I represented Karnataka state as a cricketer, which has helped me get into the skin of the character. Since I had stayed away from the game for many years, I have started practice to prepare myself for this role.My character has three shades in three different phases of life. The shoot will take place in Mangaluru and Goa from September.”

While it may seem like Vihaan has been away from the big screen for a while, he tells us, “The pandemic has caused many delays in projects. We resumed shoot for a film called Legacy as soon as the permissions to shoot were given. There is another action-oriented film that has been directed by Ravindranath which is in the pipeline.
