Director-actor Manoj’s recent wedding to IT professional Anusha and subsequent receptions in Hassan and Bengaluru saw not only their family and friends from the film industry in attendance, but also had quite the political presence. No surprise there, considering that Manoj’s father, HK Kumaraswamy, is a sitting MLA. After the wedding, which was conducted as per pandemic protocol, the reception in Hassan had political heavyweights HD Deve Gowda and his sons, HD Kumaraswamy and HD Revanna in attendance.In Bengaluru, Manoj’s filmi pals like Padmaja Rao, V Manohar, directors Shashank and Prabhu Srinivas, as well as senior police officer Ravikanth Gowda, were a part of the guests who came to wish the newly-weds all the best.
