Ninna Sanihake, produced by White And Grey Pictures, releases today. The film, directed by
Suraj Gowda, is backed by his friends from college, Akshay Rajshekar and Ranganath Kudli.
Suraj and
Dhanya Ramkumar are the lead pair.
Suraj, Akshay and Ranganath are happy that their journey has been fun and harmonious.
Talking about their foray into cinema, Akshay shares, “What began as a small foray into content took a different turn when I met Suraj. We got brainstorming on content-oriented cinema. We sat down and streamlined a few scripts and then ended up going back to the first one. This has been quite a journey and I have seen everything possible. I am sure success will be one soon too.”
Ranganath hopes that the team gets together for more films soon. “We always wanted to get into films and our first film has been fantastic. I not only got to produce it with my best friend, but another old friend from Mysuru, Suraj, directed and starred in it. Dhanya has become a friend too now. As Mysuru boys, we grew up listening to
Raghu Dixit, and now we got to work with him,” he adds.
As for Suraj, he is glad that his debut directorial is finally out. “Ninna Sanihake is a fun take on live-in relationships and it has all the essential elements that we want from a film for the family. This is the first release after 100 percent occupancy that’s for the family. We’re sure it will entertain. Please do watch the film,” says Suraj.
