The 2006 cult film 'Mungaru Male' proved instrumentals in the careers of many artists. While
Yogaraj Bhat, the film's director, made a permanent niche for himself with his penchant for love stories,
Ganesh catapulted to unprecedented fame overnight. 'Mungaru Male' also beckoned a slew of talents to the Kannada Film Industry and one among them is Preetham Gubbi, who made a mark as the film's writer (along with Bhat).
Preetham Gubbi and Ganesh forged a relationship of their own in the coming years and worked on films like 'Aramane', 'Maleyali Jotheyali', 'Dil Rangeela', and the more recent '99' (remake of the Tamil hit '96').
And now, the duo looks all set to repeat the magic together for the fourth time as they announce a new collaboration.
Both Golden Star Ganesh and Preetham Gubbi took to social media a short while ago to announce their new film together and also state that the title of the project shall be revealed on the special occasion of Ugadi. The title of the upcoming venture will be announced on April 2nd, exactly at 8.45 a.m.
"The title launch of our new film will be on the auspicious day of Ugadi. Preetham Gubbi and I have been partners in our respective cinema journies since 'Mungaru Male'. You guys have celebrated our previous endeavors like 'Maleyali Jotheyali', 'Dil Rangeela', and '99'. We are happy to announce a new dream of ours that is going to be back by Srivari Talkies," wrote Ganesh in the note he shared earlier today, via social media.
Ganesh, on the other hand, is fresh off the success of 'Sakath' and is gearing up to treat his fans with the super exciting 'Gaalipata 2' wherein he is joined by
Diganth Manchale, Pawan Kumar, and many others. He also has 'Tribble Riding' up for release.
