Ganesh shifts base to Chennai

Ganesh has finally done it. After shuttling between Chennai and Mumbai for the last couple of years for his film shoots, the model-turned-actor has finally shifted his base to Chennai.
"It's high time I did it. I have been living out of a suitcase for the last two years and it was becoming increasingly difficult. So I decided to move to Chennai. I have moved into a house in Alwarpet.I can proudly call myself Kamal sir's neighbor," he chuckles.
The actor, who celebrated his birthday recently on March 20, says that he spent the day working for the promotions of his upcoming film Panithuli. "The film is all set to hit the screens and we are gearing up with the promos and are busy finalizing the ads, posters and other promotional campaigns. I was working on my birthday and headed out with friends for a small party later in the night," he says.
So what was the best birthday gift he received? "Well, I had been to Coimbatore for a college event recently and have been attending many cultural dos in colleges since then. Right from the midnight, I have been receiving a number of calls from the students. Everyone is like 'Happy Birthday Jogi' (his character in Abhiyum Naanum). That was the best birthday gift!" he says.
