Gangster flick to propel Shilpa Shetty’s filmi career?

Sandalwood actress Shilpa Shetty, who has acted in Kannada films—Auto Shankar, Ondagona Baa, Preethsod Thappa and Maduve Agona Baa, is hopeful that her debut film as a producer will propel her filmi career and Bollywood.
Mangalore lass Shilpa, who has quit acting, is quite excited about her upcoming film Dishkiyaaoon, which is set in the backdrop of Mumbai underworld. Shilpa has donned producer's hat for the film, which stars Sunny Deol, Harman Baweja and debutante Ayesha Khanna.
“It is a full-on masala entertainer. It is an interesting film on underworld, imagine Shilpa Shetty making a film on Mumbai underworld, it sounds bizarre. But I loved the script. It is the story of a guy who wants to make it as a gangster... the struggle of this one guy. It is an emotional story. It has beautiful songs,” Shilpa said.
