As movie lovers await the theatrical release of Mansore’s Act-1978, the film's lead protagonist
Yajna Shetty seems to be extremely excited and hopeful about the film. The actress recently revealed the reason why she said yes to the film as she was considering going off of films for some time. According to an interview made to an entertainment daily, the actress revealed that she was not ready to sign any new projects because of her personal commitments.
The actress adds that when Mansore approached her for the project she did convey the same. And, only after Mansore's insistence on her listening to the script did she give the story an ear. And, she could not refuse it after listening to the narration by the director. The actress was quoted saying, that she expressed her inability to take up the project, but he insisted that she listen to the story once. "The story was very interesting and intriguing. There is no way I would not have done it, so I decided to sign it and manage the dates." Also, much to Yajna's advantage, the film team scheduled the entire shoot according to my convenience. "I am glad to be a part of an amazing story," she revealed to the daily.
The hostage thriller will be the first new Kannada film to get a theatrical release post the lockdown and the film has been creating wave online after the poster which had a pregnant lady doubling up as a human bomb.
