Here's why you need to watch Happy Birthday

Director K Mahesh Sukhadhare's next, Happy Birthday, starring newcomers Sachin and Samskruthy Shenoy, and produced by Swarnambika Pictures, hits the screens today.
Mahesh, who believes that his work should speak for itself, tells us, 'The satisfaction and joy one experiences when others speak of your work are a lot better than blowing your own trumpet. Happy Birthday has already garnered appreciation at every step, be it when we launched the teaser that had the likes of Ambareesh, Puneeth Rajkumar, Yash and Ganesh speak highly of what they saw in there; or even when we launched the film's music, when everybody who heard it could not believe that it was V Harikrishna who was the composer,' explains Mahesh, who says it is up to the director to design the overall film and work hand-in-glove with all the teams, be it the kind of music required or even the settings of the different fight sequences in order to work towards the bigger picture.
Of the film, Mahesh tells us, 'This one is a rare attempt at highlighting our nativity on the big screen. It is the sort of film that you would watch and feel proud to say that it truly is about us.'
