I feel film studies in Canada will improve my craft: Lasya Nagaraj

Actor Lasya Nagaraj has flown to Canada to pursue a film course at Yorkville University in Toronto. Lasya says, “When I started attending various film festivals, I realised that I should explore world cinema. I want to learn more about acting and the process of production.”

“Indian cinema is known for its dramatic acting, but subtle acting has been gaining prominence amongst the audience and I’d like to sharpen my skills in that field. I will also be part of short films, which will not only add to my profile, but also allow for exchange of cultures and make foreign compatriots more aware about Indian cinema,” she says.
