Director Kiranraj K is slated to make his full-length feature film debut with 77 Charlie, which has a big ensemble cast. One of those whom he was really fond of was Bhargavi Narayan, who breathed her last on Monday evening.

"There are a few characters in the film who have a lot of innocence and charm in them, which help in the journey of our protagonist, Dharma. One such is that of an old couple, played by late actors

and Bhargavi Narayan. They are pivotal in the course of the relationship formed between Dharma and Charlie," shares Kiranraj.
He says that what amazed him most about the late actors was their willingness to give their 100 per cent, no matter what.

"When we were shooting for the film, Bhargavi ma'am was not keeping her absolute best. Yet, she never let us know about that nor used that as an excuse and gave her 100 per cent when in front of the camera, without letting anyone realise that she might be uncomfortable," he recalls.

The director says he does feel sad that both the actors playing the old couple are no more. "But, on the other hand, I consider it my privilege that I got to work with veterans like Bhargavi Narayan and HG Somashekhar in what could possibly be their last release," he says.
