Jaggesh Gets Emotional About Dr. Rajkumar

Actor Jaggesh has paved a unique career for himself over the years. Fondly known as Navarasa Nayaka by his audiences, he has exhibited a varied emotional range, a distinctive quality of speech in Kannada cinema, and an impeccable comic timing through his roles. He is an unconventional superstar, undoubtedly, and despite having stiff competition throughout his career, Jaggesh managed to hold his own and prove that he’s always relevant. Films such as ‘Eddelu Manjunatha (2009)’ and ‘Neer Dose (2016)’ are testaments to this.
In a recently conducted media conference to celebrate his 40th anniversary at the movies, Jaggesh sat down along with his wife, Parimala Jaggesh, and got talking in his usual candid demeanor. Quickly enough, he began riffing about everyone’s beloved

“I have had many conversations with Raj sir – sometimes from 5 a.m. till 11 in the night. I don’t perfectly recall them today, we spoke mostly about Rayaru”, said the Mata actor. It is indeed evident from his speech that Dr. Rajkumar has had quite an impact on him. He adds, “I have been taught many life-lessons by him. I follow each of them without fail even today. He is part of my soul now. (sic)”
