Bhadravathi Ramakrishna is making his directorial debut with Kanji Pinji in Sandalwood. In local Kannada, Kanji Pinji means worthless people. In order to avoid any kind of confusion, the director of the film assured his audience that Kanji Pinji would be worth watching.
The shooting of the film has started. The debutant director is confident of making a good film revolving around the subject of “love and life”.

The director is a native of Bhadravathi in Shimoga district. And, makers of the film informed that most of the shooting will take place in and around Shimoga. The film has been produced by Kumar and Akbar Sharief. A total of Rs 70 lakh will be spent on the making of the film, say the producer duo of the film. Dhruvaraj is the music director for the film.
Deepika Das and dancer Vijay will be seen in the lead roles in the film. Manadip Rai and Umesh MS will be seen enacting comic roles in the film.
