Kishen Bilagali to debut as lead hero with a romantic drama

Former child artiste, reality dancing show winner and Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Kishen Bilagali has been dropping ample hints about his entry into films. Fans too, have been curious. We have it now that Kishen will debut as a lead in an as yet untitled romantic drama, directed by newbie Vismaya Gowda.
"I've been wanting to do a film as the lead. We had something in the works, but then I was approached by Vismaya, who narrated this script.It is a character that is a lot like me in real life and allows me scope to dance. I've also sensed the same fire as I have in her, to deliver a good film, which made me feel this is the right launchpad," he says.
Vismaya, who is also a motivational speaker, says, "I've been a big movie buff and always wanted to tell a story. While my debut film is a romantic film, it also has a social message, which I will convey in an entertaining way. We have roped in Saathvika (formerly Shravya Rao) as the lead actress."
The team is looking at commencing work on the film in January 2021, and Kichcha Sudeep will be flagging off the project, we're told.
