Manvitha Kamath is steadily gaining a foothold in Mumbai. After wrapping up her debut Marathi project, Rajasthan Diaries, with Nandita Yadav, her latest tryst is a Hindi pop video with Govinda’s nephew and actor,
Krushna Abhishek. The video, Har Boondh Saavan Ki Teri Yaad Satayee, has been directed and choreographed by
Ganesh Acharya.
“We shot for the song, sung by Soumitra Dev Burman, in Film City.
Ganesh is an absolute gem and is such a pleasure to work with. He was appreciative of my work and was happy that within the limited time we had on hand, Krushna and I gave our best,” says Manvitha, adding, “Krushna and I shared an excellent chemistry even though we were only meeting for the first time. He is an army man and I play his lady love in the video. In fact, Krushna is a lot like his uncle Govinda and is a livewire on the set.” The video is a tribute to the slain soldiers of the Pulwama attack and will be unveiled on Kapil Sharma’s show.
