Meghana Raj says her new film ‘won’t emotionally drain’ her

Meghana Raj in shooting in a tiny hamlet in the outskirts of Mangaluru and is happy to be back yet again where she feels truly belongs — under the arc lights. Her first film post her return from motherhood is set to hit screens in a fortnight, and in the interim, she has already started shooting for her second flick.

“I’ve already acted with most of the heroes in the industry and in the second round, I’m once again pairing with all of them.I acted with Prajwal in my upcoming flick and in this, I pair with Srinagar Kitty with who I have already shared screen space in Bahuparak. So whenever you’ve worked with someone before, it’s always a comfortable space,” smiles Meghana. The film is a slice-of-life flick, a genre the actor really likes and hence also agreed to be part of. “I have to add that this is a story that wouldn’t emotionally drain me as it’s a breezy story and I can just perform on the go,” Meghana tells us. A story of friendship and love that highlights the relationship of Lakshmi (Meghana) and Ramesh (Kitty), the film is being directed by Vinay Preetam.
