Actor
Meghana Raj’s comeback film, Tatsama Tadbhava (meaning synonyms), also starring Prajwal Devraj, has locked in on the release date. The movie is all set to hit the screens on September 15th. Touted to be an emotional entertainer, the movie is directed by newbie Vishal Atreya.
In Tatsama Tadbhava, Meghana plays a sober, middle-class girl whose life changes overnight after an incident.
Speaking about the film, Meghana says shooting a few important scenes in the film were emotionally draining. “Since I personally connected with the role and the project, I wanted it to shape out in a certain way and I was being too strict on myself. I wanted the exact output I had on my mind and hence it became emotionally draining. But it has come out exactly as I wanted,” she says.
The film's trailer, which released a few weeks ago, was a brainteaser and Meghana says while watching the film, the audience won’t be just mute spectators who watch someone else solve the crime but become investigators who bring the pieces together.
The film also features Prajwal Devraj in a pivotal role. “Prajwal, too, will be seen in a never-seen-before role in the film. It is more than a cameo,” she says.
This year, Meghana’s another film, Buddhivanta-2, starring
Upendra might finally see the light. The release of the film, which has already been pushed twice, may finally release in December this year. The year 2023 is likely to be a delight to Meghana’s fans as they get to see her in not just one but two films. One, a women-centric thriller and another a typical mass commercial entertainer.
