Sanjjanaa Galrani alleged that director Ravi Srivastava had forced her to enact scenes in her debut film ‘Ganda Hendathi’ which she was comfortable doing in 2006. Denying all the allegations levelled upon him, the filmmaker had reportedly demanded an apology from the actress.
According to a report in The News Minute, Sanjjanaa slammed the director for seeking apology from her.
She said that Ravi is a flop director who has done about three films and is now sitting at home with no job. While on the other hand, she has done about 45 films till now. She also clarified that contrary to what he had claimed that he gave her Rs 2.5 lakh for the film, she only received Rs 1.5 lakh. She also stated that she has always filed her IT returns and has no hidden wealth.
Elaborating further on the "uncomfortable" scenes in the film, she told The News Minute that one should watch the uncensored version of the film to know what kind of shots were taken. According to her, after the censoring, only 20 percent of the film was left.
Meanwhile, the director has completely denies all the allegations. He reportedly stated that she acted in her movie and shot to fame and now she is making allegations against him for publicity. He also sought an apology from her before Friday, failing to which he apparently threatened the actress to reveal all the proof that he has. Accoridng to him, he had priory informed her that it was a remake of ‘Murder’ and she had agreed to it.
