Director
Kiranraj K, who gained national and international recognition for his debut film 777
Charlie, is gearing up for his next project, a horror comedy coupled with adventure.
Kiran reveals that the film has been in the works for the past five months and is sure to be one-of-a-kind, much like his previous work.
Expectations are high for Kiran’s second outing, but the filmmaker assures the film will provide an unparalleled theatrical experience.
“The
visual treatment of the film will be unique to Kannada cinema, and the
content will be mind-bending as I am
exploring the expansive genres of horror, comedy, and adventure, each with its own distinctive elements,” he says.
Kiran’s connection with 777 Charlie stemmed from his love for animals and his passion for rescuing street dogs. Similarly, for his next, he found a personal connection to the story from the moment the idea was conceived. “As I continued to write, the basic foundation got stronger. Emotions are at my core, and I can’t do a film if it doesn’t connect with me,the audience will not connect with it either. The film will be made in both Malayalam and Kannada and will feature two big stars from each language,” he says, signing off.
