Sandalwood filmmaker
Pawan Kumar began his tryst with bringing like-minded filmmakers together by starting the Filmmakers' United Club, or FUC as it has become to be known popularly, during the lockdown. In over a month, the film club has had over 30 prominent names from the film industry joining it. These include filmmakers from Kannada industry as well as some from the other South Indian film industries too.

This weekend, the FUC is organising a special discussion on Women In Cinema, which will feature the women filmmakers who are a part of the group. Actress, singer, filmmaker and entertainer Pallavi MD will be chairing this live session that will be telecast live virtually.
