Renowned Telugu filmmaker Sattiraju Lakshmi Narayana, or Bapu, passed away recently and people from several film industries took time out to mourn the loss. Among them were Priya Mani, Prakash Raj, Pranitha Subhash and Charmme Kaur.
While Priya’s post on her Twitter page read, “RIP Bapu garu!!!a great loss for the industry..:( ,” Prakash posted, “Rip.
Bapugaru... Take a bow chief ..for the soul n respect u brought to Telugu cinema. Thank uuuu. Will miss you.” Bapu gave the title of Bapu Bomma, or beautiful woman, to some of his heroines, and among them were Pranitha and Charmme.
The two women, while remembering him and mourning his loss, mentioned this in their tweets. “Deeply saddened by the demise of Bapu Garu. A true legend. Will be my biggest honour to have been called a Bapu Bomma.. RIP sir,” read Pranitha’s tweet.
In her tweets, Charmme was a little more personal. Her first post read, “He bcame my BEST FRIEND during SUNDARA KAANDA,Hv d most beautiful n naughtiest memories vit him,LUV U BAAPU GARO.” This was followed with another post, which read, “I m proud that i m BAAPU BOMMAA !! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3.”
