Rakshit has a high-octane birthday blast

All roads led to a party hotspot in the outskirts of the city on Wednesday night and even the rains didn’t dampen the spirits of the friends and well wishers who got together to bring in actor Rakshit Shetty’s big day. The venue dazzled bright with colourful buntings, silver lights and mega red and black posters of Rakshit inAvane Srimannarayana graced the walls. As the clock struck 12, Rakshit cut a row of cakes featuring pictures of Avane Srimannarayana, 777 Charlie and even a tiger (the actor is fondly called tiger by his inner circle). An overwhelmed Rakshit gave an emotional 10-minute speech thanking everyone who was part of his journey — from college friends, his first director, produce r, co-actors to his current team. A befitting closure to the grand ceremony was a Mysuru peta felicitation by his friends.
