Ranam, starring the late Chiranjeevi Sarja, releases across Karnataka on March 26

Action film Ranam, starring the late Chiranjeevi Sarja, will be released in over 250 screens across Karnataka on March 26. The movie, directed by V Samudra, is produced by R S Productions.
Ranam is also the last film which is dubbed by Chiranjeevi Sarja, who will be seen as an encounter specialist in the movie. The film sees him sharing screen space with Chetan and Varalakshmi Sharathkumar for the first time on screen.Chetan plays the role of a revolutionary. The project also has Bullet Prakash, Madhusudhan, Karthik, Abhilash, Harish, Praveen and Ravi in significant roles. Ravi Varma and Vijay have choreographed the stunts. Niranjan Babu is the cinematographer, Ravishankar and S Chinna have composed the music, directors Chethan Kumar and A P Arjun have penned the lyrics.
The teaser of the movie has got positive response from film buffs. The film was in the news for the wrong reasons in the year 2019 after a tragedy on the sets of the movie, where a mother and daughter were killed in a cylinder blast during the shooting of an action sequence in Bengaluru. The incident led to the arrest of stunt master Vijay.
