Samosa wraps up shoot

Sandalwood film, Samosa, has recently wrapped up its shoot and busy with post production work now. The film which stars, Shubha Punja and Srujan Lokesh, in the lead seems to be one of the funny film titles that have been registered this year. Going by the name, the film seems to be a comic caper.
The film has been directed by AR Babu who also directed hit comedies like Halo Yama and Chamkayisi Chindi Udayisi.These two films have bought him name and fame and now with Samosa, he is all set to make new records as it is also a comedy on similar lines. Explaining the reason behind naming his film, Samosa, the director said that it is a combination of two words. The English word ‘some’ and the Kannada word ‘mosa’ which means cheating. The film also has an element of surprise.
The film is being produced under the Universal Movie Makers banner by Shivananda Madashetty.
