OMG! Sandalwood actor held for chain-snatching
He was involved in several chain-snatching incidents
Family members who learnt about the arrest landed at the deputy commissioner's office, demanding to know his whereabouts. Prithvi's mother tried to immolate herself, seeking his release.
Police said Prithvi was involved in two chain-snatching incidents in Mandya and one in K R Nagar. Police recovered gold chains worth Rs 1.05 lakh from him. Prithvi was produced before the magistrate, who remanded him to judicial custody.
