Sandalwood actor Kashinath passes away

Actor, director and producer Kashinath breathed his last at a private hospital in Bengaluru today morning. Kashinath who is known for comedy movies and double meaning dialogues was last seen in the Kannada movie Chowka. He is survived by his wife and two children.
Some of his hit films are Anatana Avanthara, Avale Nannad Hendthi and Hendathi Endhare Haygirabeku.Kashinath started his film journey in the year 1975 as a director. He has acted in more than 40 films.
He is also credited for introducing famous directors like Sunil Kumar Desai and Upendra to Sandalwood industry. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and former Prime Minister H D Devegowda and Sandalwood fraternity have mourned the sad demise of Kashinath. He will be laid to rest at a burial ground in Chamarajpet.
