Sandalwood film titled Urvashi has been launched

A film titled Urvashi by Venkatesh, who's film Kotlalloppo Kai did not do so well, was launched recently. And, the producer is very firm on keeping away from any controversy this time as the issue of actress Nayana Krishna during the time of Kotlalloppo Kai was so disgusting for the entire team.
Venkatesh, who is treading with caution, has signed Ram Prakash to direct the film.While the leading lady of the film has not been finalized yet, actresses Deeksha and Akshata Shetty already claim to be in the lead. However, rumours are that Sanjana Naidu will play the role of heroine in the film.
The hero of the film is Bharat Sagar, who has been part of films such as Agraja, Umesh Reddy, Paru Wife of Devdas and many others. Urvashi though is said to be a female oriented subject based on the Kannada novel.
