Sandalwood stars campaign for political parties

With the general elections around the corner, braving scorching heat and dust, namma Sandalwood stars have started to hit the campaign trail for the candidates who are leaving no stone unturned to emerge victorious in the elections which will be held on April 17.
Shivarajkumar: The actor is campaigning for his wife Geetha Shivarajkumar, who is contesting on JD(S) ticket from Shimoga constituency.In most of the campaigns, Shivanna is accompanying his wife who is contesting for the first time.
Rakshita: The actress, who recently joined BJP, is busy campaigning for her party candidates in various parts of Bangalore and other parts of the state. After she was denied a ticket in JD(s) party, she recently joined BJP party.
Umashree, Jaggesh and Tara: Veteran actors Umashree, Jaggesh and Tara are also campaigning for BJP Party candidates across the state. We have to wait and see if their effort pays off.
Ambareesh: Rebel Star Ambareesh, who is also a minister in state government, is likely to campaign for Ramya and other congress candidates. However, the actor is currently recovering from lung infection.
