Sanjjanaa to play herself in Ring Road Shubha?

Director HP Ravindra’s Kannada film I Am Sorry… Mathe Banni Preethsona, which had Prem and Karishma Tanna in the lead, and Sanjjanaa in a negative role, may not have set the box office on fire when it released. But the film got Sanjjanaa critical acclaim and the first award of her career. The actress, who’s been vocal about her gratitude to the filmmaker, wasted no time in saying yes to him when he and director Priya Belliappa approached her to do a cameo in Ring Road Shubha.
“Priya was an associate on Mathe Banni Preethsona, and we share a deep bond. She is one of the most dynamic new-age filmmakers, and when she asked me to shoot for a few scenes in the film, I agreed without asking what the role was about,” says Sanjjanaa.
According to a source, the actress will apparently play herself in the cameo, and will appear in the beginning of the film. The source adds that her Mathe Banni Preethsona co-star Prem is also likely to make a special appearance in the film.
