Actor Shankar Aryan is seen in three different looks in Chitramandiradalli. For his role as Byra, the Patala Garadi (look two), he had to weigh as much as 100 kilos. “Both my director Venkatachala and I have been involved in experimental theatre for a while. The role he came up with for me is undoubtedly one of the most challenging ones that Sandalwood has seen till date.It is the script and the screenplay that mesmerizes and keeps you, as an audience, completely on the edge,” says Shankar.
