For
Shine Shetty, the rule of thumb to agree to a film is that he must get to do something new. “The duration of my role in a movie doesn’t make a difference to me. I need to get a kick out of playing that part, and infuse as much life into the role, as possible,” says Shine. This logic led him to sign up for a cameo in the upcoming flick, Bachelor Party. Excerpts:
‘Abhijit Mahesh had me in mind for the role’Abhijit Mahesh, who marks his directorial debut with Bachelor Party, had Shine in mind for the cameo.
“The only thing that the director told me over the call was that he had me in mind for the role. We met for a narration, and from start to finish, it was a sheer joy ride. I knew this would be a fun film. Abhi had envisioned me in a certain way, and with his narration, I too began forming an idea of how I’d like to play it,” shares Shine.
For me, films are where you get to live your dreams and as long as that desire is fulfilled, I’m happy

‘I don’t draw boundaries as an actor’Since acting is Shine’s passion, he only cares about the value of each role. “I am here to act and that’s what made me take up parts like that in Kantara and Bachelor Party. I’m also gearing up for my role in Just Married as the lead. Also, my cameo in Bachelor Party had a connection with the title, too,” he signs off.
