Shwetha Pandit has a come a long way from being a television anchor to becoming an actor. After playing miniscule roles in Yogaraj Bhat's film including Paramathma. The actor finally got her break in her first Kannada film Case No 18/9, which a remake of Tamil film, Vazhakku Enn 18/9.
The film is a teen crime thriller and has already been dubbed as Premalo Padithe in Telugu and Black Butterflies in Malayalam.

The Kannada version features Shwetha, Sindhu Lokanath and Niranjan Shetty (of Jolly Days fame) in lead roles.
The film, which is directed by Mahesh Rao, will extensively be shot in Bangalore and a couple of portions in Delhi. Meanwhile, Shwetha has also completed working for her first Telugu film, Theater Lo Naluguru. The film is a suspense thriller that has upcoming actors Srikanth, Dheeraj, Varun and Shankar in lead roles. She plays the role of an IT girl in the film. The movie trailer has been doing the rounds on social media and we hear that the actress is happy with the response. It is reported that the actor will soon be signing her second Telugu film. Meanwhile, the actor is currently shooting for Case No 18/9, where she plays a school girl.
