SPB's song from Rajini's Kochadaiiyaan is a hit

The first song from the upcoming Rajnikanth-starrer Kochadaiiyaan, was released online recently. Well-known playback singer SP Balasubramanyam has sung Engage pogudho vaanam and audiences are loving it. The music of the film has been composed by the Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman. The effervescent vocals of the singer make the emotionally uplifting song a must hear.
The song opens to grand orchestra-backed blaring horns with recurring percussion. The song is highly energetic but Rahman skillfully gives it a melodic touch by introducing different instrumental portions.
The Tamil movie icon originally hails from Bangalore and did several Kannada movies Thappida Thala, Garjana, Maathu Tappada Maga, and Kumkuma Rakshe, to name a few and has a huge fan following across Karnataka. According to sources, the upcoming film Kochadaiiyaan starring the superstar, will be released on Rajnikanth's birthday on December 12.
