Kannada actor
Sriimurali has, no doubt, created a new onscreen image for himself with his last three films —Ugramm, Rathavara and the recently-released Mufti — that of the aggressive protagonist. We hear that the actor is now gearing up for a film that showcases a different side to him — that of a jovial, fun, boy-next-door. And for this, he’s teaming up with director Yogi G Raj of Bangara S/O Bangarada Manushya fame.
A source close to the development tells us, “The film is still in its scripting stage, and will be produced by KRG Studios, which is a sister concern of Hombale Films that is currently working on the Yash-starrer, KGF. Sriimurali will be seen in a totally different role, quite unlike the ones he’s been doing of late. It is said to be a realistic action drama. The shoot is expected to begin only by mid-2018.”
We also hear that music composer V Harikrishna has already begun work on the album of this yet-to-be-titled film. Stay tuned for more.
